Monika Naholo

Tell us about your career journey – where did it all start?

Having to grow up in the northern part of Namibia, and as an orphan since the age of 6, I vowed to myself that I would excel in whatever I do. I have always seen education as a way out of poverty. So after 6 years of finishing my first degree in accounting, I was finally able to make my dream come true by pursuing the ACCA qualification. It's a great honour to be part of the ACCA community.

What would your younger self say if they could see you now?

You are stronger than you think. You are a conqueror. I am proud of the woman you have become both personally and professionally.
