Tell us about your career journey – where did it all start?

Wow, it's a long story but I will make it short. So, I got the opportunity to come to the UK in July 2013 from Jamaica. I didn't have great GCSE results, and I didn't want to go back to college to do A levels. So I was looking for courses where I could just use my current GCSEs only as entry level to do anything. One day I came across AAT on Crawley College website, and I started my journey from there.

What would your younger self say if they could see you now?

Oh my, my younger self would say 'girl you have done well'. Your dream was always to be an independent and a successful woman. You grew up in a poor household and saw how the family struggled, you were so determined to break this cycle, and you have done this in abundance. I am so proud of you, words cannot explain. Just know there is more to come, just be proud of yourself every step of the way.
