Tell us about your career journey – where did it all start?

I was working at Mountains of the Moon University (MMU), a private university in Uganda. I had a first class degree. The vice chancellor Prof Patrick Davey was impressed to see me, a nun and working in a university as a bursar which was not common. He advised me to go for ACCA a globally recognised accountancy body. It was not easy to balance the demands of the job, religious life and studies!

What would your younger self say if they could see you now?

Happy, I made it! Proud of me. The only nun in my congregation with ACCA.
